Around a month back (give or take a few days here and there) I managed to get my grubby little hands on an eleaf istick 20. I actually got it in a trade where I traded around 35 quids worth (retail) of juice. To be fair I rarely if ever pay retail value for anything so I considered the trade to be rather fair.

 

The istick itself came with the charging lead and plug in wall charger (although to date I have never used the latter) and I must say it is rather dinky for a piece of kit that fires at 5 watts higher than my previous go to faff free vapotronic of choice (my trusty vamo V5).

 

Having recently procured a 50 watt jobby I wast overly fussed that the istick isn’t a cloud machine and I was looking more for an all day vape device without all the dicking about with having to coil to the ohms to achieve the wattage I desired as I was previously dong with my mechs. And I have to say I am really impressed. One month in (give or take a day here and there) it has surpassed my vamo and has become my go to for out and about. Where as will occasionally leave my mechs on the shelf and on an even rarer occasion ignore my dna 50 (clone of course) mainly due to me not having charged it up via the pass through or being arsed to unscrew the back plate to replace a depleted battery the istick has become my one size fits all mods. It doesn’t fire as high as some mods of coil down as low as others. But it is a cracking middle of the road vape with a shit ton of battery life. From a full charge I can easily chain vape the fuck out of it all day long and halfway into the next. In fact since I have had it I don’t think I have once vaped it to the point that the internal battery has died. The fact that it is also a pass-through is another bonus and probably one of the reasons that I have yet to vape the battery flat. Its no big deal to come back from a 20 mile trek through the British countryside (after foraging putting out fires' rescuing maidens from towers and being hailed as the hero of the villages I saved) to simply plug the istick into my pc and vape away while it charges.

 

Many a time on a vape page a question will often by asked by a noob vaper about what device they should step up from their ego type devices to. Last year the letters M V and P would have always been at the forefront of my mind when recommending a faff free set up (and in many ways the mvp is still a cracking choice). These days I have to type the additional few extra letters to recommend the istick instead. It is not only a great faff free entry level step up. But in my humble opinion it is also a cracking faff free all day go to for when you really cant be arsed to tit about and want something that gives avery acceptable vape for out and about while scaling mountains and other such heroic acts average people like me do on a daily basis.

 

If you are in the market for a cloud beast then maybe the istick 50 or 30 may be a better option than the 20. but for the price. The 20 is a cracking and dinky little mod that I couldn’t lavish enough praise on.
