I was fortunate to be one of ten lucky people to have got their name down fast enough on UK Vape Trades facebook page to recieve five samples of e liquid from Chris Crystal Clear from bowmantrade for the small task of both sampling and giving an honest opinion on them.

 

Not wanting to dissapoint and knowing i have a much underused page of all things vape related here i thought it the perfect opertunity to post a review of all five liquids right here for those lucky enough to have come across these hallowed pages lol.

 

So for your viewing pleasure i will be reviewing Drumstix' Pink Pig' Tropical Storm' Bug Brain' and Tizer. i recieved all liquids free of charge but my opinion on them however remains the same. (i seem to have come across scott boner there giggidy)

 

First up

 

Drumstix

 

this one i have had before. and i dont mean i bought it but i have definitely made something simalar myself in the past (so thats already a good review right there lol) this is a very chocolaty caramel based liquid and the scent of such is overpoweringly of caramel. sweet sticky almost sickly toffee. its not until you whack it in a dripper and start vaping away that you notice a hint of chocolate backnote. and this isnt what i would call an ordinary cadburrys dairy milk chocolate theres definitely something fo a dark musty note to the backnote itself. on its own it would probably be to much but as an additive to the main flavour of caramel it rounds the whole thing off nicely. this isnt what i would call an all day vapeby any means. its more the equivelent to having an occasional brandy at the end of the day for a nice wind down. I have already mentioned to Chris that it would make an exceptional addition to a tobacco flavour. making for one hell of an RY4 liquid. ot of 5 i would hit Drumstix up at a 4.

 

Pink Pig

 

The first scent on this was fruity. My other half suggested a tutti frutti scent. again a sweet fruity based juice with what i could swear had a slight menthol afterhit. i had to vape quits a few filled drippers to get the measure of this one. and by all accounts it agreed with me. i finally settled on an opinion of this being very simalar to a strawberry ice cream flavour. i have no idea in itself if the juce co tained a strawberry flavour and i was throwing round the possibility if i could detect vanilla in there as well. but strawberry ice cream srang to mind so there it stays. And by strawberry ice cream im thinking of the one you used to get as a kid in cardboard blocks an almost sweet style strawberry. ill shut up on this review now as theres only so many times i can say strawberry ice cream without comming across as a simpleton who cant throw a decent review together and ill slap another 4 out of 5 on this juice

 

Tropical Storm

 

I have been told in no uncertain terms by the mixer of this juice that coconut is the overriding flavour in this juice. I however stand by my conviction that the coconut takes a back seat to be overpowered by the pineapple flavour. To say i liked this one would be an understatement as out of the five flavours avalable this was my fave one. A burst of freshness and one that said a nice hello to my tastebuds as it worked its way to my lungs. the coconut was there but i almost had to convince myself as the pineapple overtook somewhat. i thing the saying adds a slight creamyess to the overall vape experience would be a good assesment of the coconuts role in this liquid im not gong to give this a 5 as that wold be unfair and i do believe anything can be improved upon. and for that reason i give my fave of the five a respectable 4.5 out of 5

 

Bug Brain

 

This one im unsure of. the flavour was certainly plesant. the overall one being that of orange or tangerine or one of those citric fruits. i was half expecting a hit of malic to grab me and make me hate it as im no fan of malic infused juices. fortunately none came and what i was left with was a sweet warm almost chrismassy tangerine flavour one might get from a stocking stuffed with spices and nuts and at the bottom theres the tangerine that no kid wants lol. i may be stretching my assumtions to breaking pot to say possible spices cinamon? or such else was in there as well but ....yep orange flavour. there was however a downside to this juice which steeping may resolve and that was one of a slight but noticable chemical aftertaste. im aware that some flavour concentrates do have this chemical aftertaste and also aware that steeping does sometimes help. I cant garuntee this is one of those cases though so for the sake of offchance ill bitchslap a 3 out of 5 onto this particualr flavour and see if a steep improvement happens later on.

 

Tizer

 

My review of this one may be a little unfair. maybe its because as a kid i was more of a doctor pepper or cola fan and  cant for the life of me place the taste of tizer if someone told me old socks tasted like tizer i would have to agree purely as i wouldnt know any better. i doubt old socks do of course. i cant see a dring thats been popular since the 70s doing well on that flavour. according to her indoors though it does indeed smell of tizer all be it quite muted in scent and for intents and purpouses also flavour. theres nothing particulaly bad with the flavour in itself its just not one i could particulaly place other than sweet. probably one of the things that puts me off is i like to be able to at least have a hint of what something has to it and on this i couldnt get one. i could review and say it was sweet and nice but thats a shit review and anyone reading this deserves better lol. so t was sweet and it was nice and it was also undistinguishable from anything i could describe. i should just buy a can of the fizzy stuff to compare realy. who knows i might even give it more than the 3 out of 5 im going to if i did lol

 

 

Well thats my review it is what it is. im by no means an oz clark of the e liquid world but i know what i like and i can at least give a personal opinion on it. all the above juices were at worst a ecet vape and at best a damn tasty all day vape ane everything in between.
